About WOMEN - The Landings
Welcome home!
This BeGroup is for women who live in The Landings at Bennett's Creek—a residential community for adults ages 55 and better in Suffolk!
We start with fellowship and then jump into Bible study. Because we're in the same neighborhood, we enjoy doing life together—often baking, gathering socially, and supporting each other.
Currently, we are studying "They Walked with God: 40 Bible Characters Who Inspire Us" by Max Lucado.
On October 28, we begin "Tame Your Thoughts: Three Tools to Renew Your Mind and Transform Your Life" by Max Lucado.
In this study, explore three key thought-management tools and apply them to the most common thought problems: worry, guilt, anxiety, and other mental quicksand that threaten to trap. If God can resurrect the dead, can He not resurrect hope? Defy depression? Clarify confusion? Silence shame? Destroy doubt? Banish bitterness? Come along as we learn to test thoughts against Scripture and think and act like Jesus!
