About Parenting with a Purpose (Nov/Dec)
Parenting is one of the most sacred callings God entrusts to us and one of the most challenging. We believe that no parent should walk this journey alone. That's why we're launching Parenting with Purpose, a faith-based support group designed to equip and encourage parents as they raise their children with love, wisdom, and spiritual grounding.
This group aims to equip parents with information and practical, solution-based strategies to increase confidence and connection when managing child behavior. Through our sessions, parents will learn to:
- Strengthen their relationship with their child through increased connection and closeness.
- Gain a nuanced understanding of the child underneath the behavior, managing stress and finding calm.
- Apply tools that support firm boundaries, effective communication, and emotional regulation.
- Decrease power struggles through consistent parenting strategies, wisdom, and grace.
By understanding the emotional needs of a child, parents can not only improve behavior but transform how the entire family operates and relates to one another. The strategies discussed will help parents think differently when challenges arise and will help them feel empowered to tackle these moments in ways that are effective and safe. Whether you're dealing with everyday parenting stressors or seeking to enhance your family's spiritual growth, this parenting group offers a nurturing space to grow and connect with fellow parents on the same journey.
